We drove the new road up to Whitefish Mountain (Big Mtn)and had a great day on the snow. I rented som nice Alpine gear from Tammarack, which is right on the road to the mountain.
It was pretty foggy, but the snow was good. I normally snowboard, so it took me a few runs to get used to skis again, but by the time we left I was feeling comfortable.
Hopefully I can go again tomorrow.

Seattle 3-day, Closing Ceremonies

The closing ceremonies were held at Memorial Stadium at Seattle Center. Lots of friends and family came out to cheer the walkers as they celebrated their accomplishment.

Kari walked from Lincoln Park in west Seattle to Seattle on Sunday. I met her on Alki with Langley and she was very happy to see us.

Kari and all her teammates were all decked out in pink today for the final day. Their destination is Memorial Stadium near the Space needle in the background.

Kari walked from Bellevue Community College to Tukwila today. I got to cheer her on towards the end of the 20+ mile walk. She was understandably tired but in good spirits.

Kari and I got to go to a Seahawks training camp, held at Husky Stadium.

Mariners vs Red Sox at Seafair

My Dad and I rode our motorcycles to Safeco Field on Sunday to see the Mariners host the Red Sox. The Mariners lost, but it was a beautiful day at the ball park, and we got to see the Blue Angels flying overhead a few times.

We had a chance to spend a few days at Disneyland too.

Weekend in Whistler

I went to Whistler, B.C. with some friends from work over the weekend of 4/20 to 4/23.
