Check out this cute clip I just 'cut' and posted of Emmy having fun in her exersaucer/ba-ba-doo-wah and playing the egg shaker.

Moto Guzzi Head Guards
I recently purchased some machined head guards for my Moto Guzzi Quota from Joe Kenny.
They look fantastic and were a breeze to install. Here are my before and after photos.

I feel no further explanation is necessary. Joe offers several other styles on his site: http://www.swva.net/jkenny/

i Mapped My Ride of Stevens Pass
I picked out a new free app for my iPhone a few weeks ago, with the expectation that it would use GPS to help me map and track my cycling training rides. I found out last weekend that it also will track ski/snowboard runs and then let you view and share the route map online. The app is called iMapMyRide (hence the title of this post) and here is my map.

Hello Again
It's been a shamefully long time since I've shared any news on my blog.
This is partly because I've found Facebook to be so convenient, but primarily because I'm so busy learning to be a parent.
Emerson graced us with her fashionably late arrival on December 26 and has kep us busy. Honestly, I think I have it easier as a father, since I "get to" periodically escape to the office.
About two weeks ago now, we were able to get most of the family together, to dedicate baby Emmy at church. The main reason I am posting today is to share the link to the photos from this event. So, without further ado (click on the photo below to see the album):

White Christmas in Western Washington?!
We're enjoying the pretty snow from inside the house, but it's not so fun when we need to get out and drive in it. I've shoveled more snow off this driveway than any other snow I've shoveled before. And I don't really have a proper snow shovel - since we only get snow like this every ten or so years - so, it probably seems like more of a chore.
We are trying to stay close to home, in case we need to head for the hospital. Little lady dady baby has not yet decided to grace us with her presence, but we're looking forward to her "fashionably late" arrival.

Christmas in Kenmore
It's been a busy week. Wednesday was Kari's birthday, then of course Thursday was Thanksgiving. But (and I think Kari agrees) the most important recent event was hunting for and decorating the Christmas tree.
We got the tree in the house and tried to keep it far enough from the window to avoid a Griswold moment.
